e book,"Wise Women, Foolish Choices,"? There have been times in my life, I thought that book was about me. I know, there is a God somewhere! I am living proof, that Miracles do exist. Yes, Miracles happen every day! When we remember, to keep God first, hold on to the unchanging hand of His Son, Jesus, nothing can stop us from reaching our goals.
I have been chosen to receive a Graduate Fellowship in Palliative Care from the University of Southern California. This is a wonderful opportunity! As previously stated, our Lord sends Miracles every day! Just to think, a little pion like me, receiving so many Blessings. Yes, in spite of sicknesses, diseases, emotional and physical pain, great hardships, multiple disappointments.....God is still in charge! He keeps on
blessing me.
In 1981, my Mother and I co-founded The Dept. of Social & Community Services Ministries. This God-inspired organization has grown into The CENTER, for Community Health Education Ministries. The CENTER is a compilation of 12 organizations, which include The Women of Color Breast Health Initiative, The Ovarian Cancer Network, The Asthma Partnership for Cleaner Air, Kleen Boyz, The Women's, Children's and Teen's Housing Consortium. The CENTER's organizations work to address the PsychoPhysical, PsychoSocial, PsychoSpiritual needs of our clients. We work to educate the public about numerous diseases and social issues. We offer a myriad of services, free-of-charge. Those seeking assistance do not have to belong to any religious group.
